1. La Cascada
Without doubt, one of the finest restaurants in Ronda, La Cascada, is less than a five minute walk from La Perla Blanca. Serving international cuisine with Spanish influences, chef Ian Love, uses only the freshest, finest ingredients sourced locally. During the summer time you can dine al fresco on the riverside terrace, whilst during the cooler winter months, the inside restaurant oozes character and has a log burning fire. My favourite dish is the Thai Curry packed full of fresh vegetables and succulent prawns, whilst the larger appetite will enjoy the Spanish Chuleton beef steak, mouth watering and delicious. We can reserve you a table when you check-in at La Perla Blanca.
2. De Locas Tapas
What can we say that everybody else hasn't said already. A visit to Ronda is not complete without a dining experience at the amazing De Locas Tapas, the reviews of this place speak for themselves. Originating from the Basque Country - where food is almost a religion -, the characterful cheerful owner, Guillermo, will ensure you have an extraordinary time with dishes that will tingle every taste-bud in your body. Reservations are a must and you can either contact the restaurant directly or contact us to make the reservation for you.
3. El Muelle De Arriate
El Muelle De Arriate also known as "Frank's Place" is a stunning restaurant set in an old railway bunker close to the village of Arriate. On arrival, Frank the owner, will discuss the menu in detail with you and make recommendations to your taste. The food is exquisitely presented and cooked to perfection, and the service attentive but relaxed. Our top picks would be to choose one of their fabulously fresh salads to start (1 to share between 2 is plenty) and for meat lovers try the Iberian meat platter which includes several different cuts of succulent Iberian pork. There is also fresh fish and vegetarian options available. And did I mention the sunsets... wow
4. Venta Del Puente
For some traditional Spanish cuisine then you can't get more authentic than Venta Del Puente. At the weekend they do a fabulous BBQ with tasty meat and fish dishes, whilst during the week they serve a traditional 'Menu Del Dia'. The 'Menu Del Dia' is served in most restaurants in Spain and was originally introduced to provide a good meal for workers who could not go home for the midday meal. It usually consists of 3 courses with a drink and is priced from 8 to 14 euros. You can also choose from the a la carte menu. A great value restaurant at the end of a nice hike from La Perla Blanca
5. La Perla Blanca
Of course we feel one of the best dining experiences you will have, with the most spectacular views is right here at La Perla Blanca. Choose from our locally produced meat and international cheese platter, homemade gazpacho soup, the freshest chicken, prawn and mango salad or just a simple sandwich. Enjoy lunch under the shady willow tree or a quiet romantic dinner watching the stars under a clear Spanish night sky. ¡Buen Provecho!
