Our pick of the top 5 winery tours in Ronda1. BadMan WinesFounded by Sinbad & Manuel (hence the name) in 2016, it was the dream of these two young winemakers to offer something new and fresh in the Serrania de Ronda and that is exactly what they have done. There wines are crafted to be the best they can from the subtle sweetness of the Muscatel, the aromatic Chardonnay, the fine flavours of red fruits in the Rosado, the classic young tempranillo to their full bodied Cabernet Sauvignon - Syrah. You will truly find it difficult to pick which one you prefer. We are pleased that in February 2020 they decided to choose a new venue for their winery which is right here at La Perla Blanca. We are the only hotel in Ronda with an onsite winery, so you can stagger out of the tasting and straight into the pool 😊 Bookings can be made directly on our website at the same time as booking a room or simply contact us 2. Bodega SchatzSchatz bodega was one of the first to open after the phylloxera pest killed off most of the vines throughout Europe in the late 1800's. Descalzos ViejosThis bodega and winery has it all, great wines, amazing location with beautiful views and gardens and buildings which are unbelievable. The current owners took over the property, which was an old convent, in 1998 and it went through a huge restoration project to create what we have today. The bodega itself is set in the old chapel with the fermentation chambers down either side of where the isle would have been and the barrel storage takes up the alter area. Tour can be booked on the website Bodega Doña FelisaFounded in 1999, Bodega Doña Felisa was born from the commitment of its founders, José Maria Losantos, and his wife Gema Alonso. Natives of Burgos, they discovered the city of Ronda and fell instantly in love. Not only with the City, but with this marvelous corner of Andalucía which offers such unequalled conditions for the elaboration of fine wines. This turned their passion for wine into a thriving business and a way of living. Bodega Doña Felisa is one hundred percent a family undertaking. Now with the second generation of the family consolidating this project, and ensuring that continues as one of the most renowned and innovative bodegas in Andalucía. Surrounded by Ronda´s mountains and located in an area known as CHINCHILLA also really close to Roman city of Acinipo,"Land of wine", where already in Roman times, first century before Christ, fine wines were produced to be exported to the whole Roman Empire. We had a beautiful and amazing stay at La Perla Blanca in Ronda. Location was top and a cozy breakfast every morning in a basket. We choose our place somewhere in- or outside the b&b and eat it with a great beautiful view. The host was more than helpful. In one word it was fabulous. Thank you for the hospitality.
